We bring the fun to your dog!
Does this describe you?
- You have feelings of guilt because you cannot take your canine companion on a regular dog walk.
- You work long hours and it is too dark to go on a dog walk when you get home.
- You are missing your lunch hour to run home and let your dog out to potty.
- You are unable to go on a dog walk due to health related or other reasons.
Let our village help with professional dog walking services. Our trained dog walkers walk dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds in Barrington and surrounding communities, including Dover, Rochester, Strafford, Northwood, Madbury, Durham, Lee, Nottingham, Newmarket and Epping.
Dogs are walked in the neighborhoods they are familiar with. They are allowed to sniff and interact with their environment. This is the primary way they experience the world around them and make sense of everything.
Our professional dog walkers also practice loose leash clicker training and can assist with basic leash manners if needed.
If your dog needs higher energy output or you would like your dog to explore new surroundings, try one of our Doggy Adventures.
Prior to a dog walk, our team ensures your pet has a properly fitting harness, tick spray (if needed), and water and training treats (if needed). After the walk, we will check your dog for ticks, wash and dry feet (if needed), dry underside if wet, and supply treats and fresh water.
Dog Walking services are available 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday. All visits include an update with pictures and report card posted immediately following the visit to your personal and secure online customer portal.
All dog walks are GPS tracked and walking routes can be viewed in your personal portal profile after each visit report.
If you own a senior or special needs dog, our Dog Play service may be preferred. This is also a great option if the weather prevents your dog from safely enjoying the outdoors.
This service includes a short walk around the neighborhood or yard, or a potty break with additional stimulation.
We offer interactive and touch stimulation for dogs. Interactive stimulation includes engagement with puzzles, games and toys, and includes a food reward. Touch stimulation includes brushing, scratching, cuddling and massage.
Your dog’s play visit will be customized to their needs and routine. If you have a senior or special needs dog, we will give them the extra attention they need to enjoy their midday break.
Dogs will also be offered fresh water and treats. We are mindful of allergies and food sensitivities your pet may have and will ask you at the Meet & Greet if your dog has an treat restrictions we should be aware of.
